“ Nice environment with great food, beer, and service. Entrees: Mini Juicy Lucys, black bean avocado burger, fried fish, and the buffalo chicken wrap. The fried fish was our favorite of the bunch, although all entrees were thoroughly enjoyed by our group. Service was great... the server was very busy supporting quite a few tables. She wasn’t always available to us, but she was constantly moving and responding to customer requests; the one potential improvement - consider additional servers during the time slot. “ Delicious food with a fun menu. Burgers and sushi?! Love it! Clean restaurant with a very nice staff, Craig was our waiter/bartender and was awesome. They also offer military discounts. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu! ”
“ Order: Seaweed Salad(pictured) and Squid Sashimi (not pictured). The food is great, and you are getting what you pay for. The place is lovely, and you'll likely need to call ahead of time to reserve a spot if you've a large group. My first time here, and it was nice aside from a mishap in order placement. The waitress was a sweetheart, and showed deep concern when we realized that my Sashimi had been put on my daughter's plate without our knowledge. Naturally, whatever arrives on someone's plate - it's their food. So I didn't realize the pieces of meat were my Sashimi and not part of my kiddos order. No worries, I didn't want people to have to go out of their way or worry. Yet when told they could get me my order, they'd have to ring up/charge again. While I didn't see this as fair, I told them they didn't have to do that. Though I gave up after the manager on duty insisted she ring up another plate. While I didn't want to pay for another plate, I was already embarrassed by the situation as there were people watching and ended up just agreeing. I do hope, in the future, there's a way this doesn't happen again. Not a bad place, and I would still recommend it. Just a sad misunderstanding. ”

“ THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We were in town for a soccer tournament and came two days in a row for lunch because the food and service were so amazing! The second day we had an EXTRA large group of players and parents and they got us in and out in a timely manner, our server was SO attentive and patient, and the rest of the staff was so helpful! “ Phenomenal place for food and drinks! We opened up Google maps to explore new restaurants since we just moved to the area. When we drove my and saw the outdoor patio open on a beautiful summer day, we decided on Drakes. Could not have made a better choice! Tremendous VALUE for both food and drinks. Fantastic service (great job, Seth!). Hard to find nowadays! Also,as an avid beer nerd, I was pleasantly surprised to see such a diverse selection of beers; cream ales, IPA’s, Brown Ales, Stouts, etc. Great to see and coupled with a really solid cocktail menu, zero complaints about the drink selections. The food was excellent as well. We tried the filet combos with both the grilled chicken and the crab Rangoon roll, in addition to the mini cheeseburgers. Now cheeseburgers are generally just good or meh, but THESE burgers were baller! Perfectly cooked, very high quality and expertly prepared. The side of waffle cut sweet potato fries were a perfect complement and delicious. All in all, a “must-visit” establishment if you live in or around O’Fallon/Shiloh area. Great food, service, drinks, and atmosphere. We will be back often! ”
